Payments

Everyone involved in running each group as well as any member of the committee is a volunteer.

To be a member of the World-Wide Scouting Association an annual capitation is paid on behalf of the young people within the 1st Cuckfield Scout Group. For 2011 the capitation fee was £38 per Beaver, Cub or Scout.

The Subscription to be a member of the 1st Cuckfield Scout Group, whether your son or daughter is a Beaver, Cub or Scout is currently £111 pa, or £37 per term.

This amount covers the cost of the current capitation fee, the running of the Scout Hut including general maintenance and utilities and upkeep of the equipment and resources for activities. This is reviewed annually at the AGM, usually in July. Occasionally there might be a requirement for additional payments for an activity in the respective groups.

We are a registered charity and are able to benefit from GiftAid. As a result, please ensure that you have completed a Gift Aid form.

Please make prompt payments at the beginning of the year or term (if paying by term) either by bank transfer or setting up a standing order (no cash or cheques please) as follows:
